I studied devised and collaborative practices at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. I say this not to brag, but to point out that I literally got a master's degree in strategies and best practices for collaborating with others (even ones you disagree with and/or dislike) in creative contexts. I thrive in collaborative settings where good ideas from one person can build on the excellent ideas of others. This has made me an extremely effective communicator, able to create synergy between collaborators of very different backgrounds, including artists, designers, technicians, scientists, administrators, vendors, producers, clients, bureaucrats, educators, young people, entitled man-children, etc...
While I collaborate with others on everything I do, I am always especially gleeful to get to work in Devised, non-hierarchical settings...

PSYCHOPOMP! @ Brixton Jamm
In Collaboration with Enter Level5
PSYCHOPOMP! was a site responsive journey/performance situated in and around the dance floors of London's hottest parties. Through a blend of intimate one-on-one encounters, interactive installations, and shared collective experiences, PSYCHOPOMP! took audience members on their own, personal Heroic Journey. By immersing audience members in a world perceivable with all six senses and populated by mythic characters, we invited clubbers to escape reality and enter Level5.

This time set in the exotic East, PSYCHOPOMP! once again invited audience members off the dance floor and into a fully-sensorial experience through the afterlife, and to their own unique destiny.

Giving Up the Ghost
In Collaboration with HardyTree
Using the idea of a "Heart and Organ Storage Facility" as a surreal framing device, Hardy Tree explored grief and loss as we experience it in our everyday lives. Mundane tasks such as folding clothes or making cake batter were made strange, even grotesque, as repetition and endurance transformed the every-day into excruciating feats of labor.
